Höhlenburg

South-east of Kössen, at the foot of the "Schnappenstein" is a cliff called "Herrenhauswand". Nearby lie the ruins of the so-called Höhlenburg (ca. 13th century). Excavations made beneath the ruins show that the site was occupied by noble people. Guided tours only.

Tour of the outside only.
