Enjoy the freedom of cross-country skiing!

The guaranteed snow cover of the north-west side of "Kaiserwinkl's" upper valley and the fantastic view make it the Eldorado of cross-country skiers. The villages of Kössen, Schwendt, Walchsee and Rettenschöss are connected through a network of 140km of classic and skating tracks.

The cross-country tracks pass in front of the campsite, just next to the Campino bistro. Your guest card automatically  includes free access to the network of tracks including those of the neighbouring village of Reit im Winkl.

On the excellently maintained tracks, you'll find beginners as well as experienced skiers in their respective tracks. The "Kaiserwinkl" network was awarded the "Tracks seal of quality".

An illuminated night track runs  past the sports ground. A 1 200m stretch is well lit every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 18.00 - 21.30 and accessible to everyone.

The "Koasa-Lauf"  is an internationally renowned yearly cross-country event.
